An episode of the United States soap opera "Love is a Many Splendored Thing" from 12/1/67 without a copyright notice....

I really like this. Why is it not in color?

Was Love is a Many Splendored Thing in color in 1967? Something tells me no... but I've been wrong once before.

It was produced in colour, but like All My Children, only B&W kinescopes survive.

I don't know if it's any good to you but I found this in the software section of IA:

http://www.archive.org/details/tucows_279162_DVD_Region_CSS_Free

It says it can copy protected discs. If not do google a search for a freeware ripper - I'm sure there's something out there that will get Tony Hancock from your disc to our screens!

I don't think this site would go for a ripped copyrighted DVD even if you found out how to do it. You may be able to put it on the virus ridden places like limewire or a torrent sight. But to put this site with all its great files at risk, wouldn't be worth it.

Actually, the content is public domain, but it's still unrippable with my DVD ripper.

Use a program called AnyDVD which runs in the background and will allow you to rip the Hancock DVD. I'm so bad.
